I decided to put the walking expedition through the West Bank on hold for now. A few reasons made me change my mind but ultimately, I didn't fancy it at this moment in time. That's the thing with travel and adventure. If you don't want to do something, don't do it. There is nothing wrong with changing your mind. Instead I've flown to Georgia. Flights were dirt cheap from Cyprus and the cost of living here is also really low (classic Yorkshireman!) I have little plan other than to rest, be a tourist and drink some strong wine and eat good food. Hopefully there will be enough snow in the mountains to spend a couple of days skiing. This trip is absolutely a holiday as opposed to some gnarly expedition but that's what I felt like I needed right now after a busy few months of work.
